Service Manager

Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced service automotive professional to lead our service team as Service Manager. The candidate will be passionate and highly knowledgeable about automotive service and repair, as well as being a leader in delivering the personalized high level of service.

Responsibilities:

  • Hiring and supervising all service department personnel (advisors and technicians)
  • Help creating goals and objectives for the department
  • Ensuring technicians compliance with the manufacturer training program
  • Ensuring all warranty claims are accurate and submitted in a timely fashion within manufacturer guidelines
  • Maintaining the highest degree of customer service standards while increasing customer loyalty
  • Ensuring service operation meets MTO licencing as well as Health & Safety requirements

Qualifications:

  • We are looking for a candidate with previous Service Manager experience. We will also consider an individual with experience running there own service business, or managing a vehicle/equipment service operation.
  • Technician license will be considered an asset
  • Must demonstrate strong communication skills
  • Understand and keep abreast of all rules and regulations regarding automotive operations
  • Highly organized

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $56,000.00-$72,000.00 per year

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Kenora, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

  • service advisor/writer: 1 year (preferred)
  • management: 1 year (preferred)
